As we head into 2021, Laura Cozijnsen and Wong Mei Wai will close the year with reflections and tips on how to tune oneself to be "an Instrument of Change" in Episode 5: On the Pulse of Change – 2021 From the Eyes of Gen Z.

In line with providing the CHANGE INSIDER point of view to individuals, they will be joined by their guest speakers Harvard Lee, Imogen Ainslie, Artiom Cvetkov, Ali Aguilera and Chang Hui Tze who will share their perspective to change and their views on the trends for 2021.

Harvard Lee

Harvard Lee from the sunny island of Singapore, is currently in his 3rd year of medical school, in the United Kingdom.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, he found himself back in Singapore since end March’20, and has been working part time till the start of his third year classes, which are now online. The Covid-19 restrictions led to him being stuck at home most of the time, and he saw working part time as an escape and means to earn more money. Throughout this summer, he was working as a store packer for 2 supermarkets before becoming a temperature screener/healthcare assistant in the Institute of Mental Health.

Imogen Ainslie

Imogen Ainslie is a final year History and Politics student studying in London. Her research focus has been on international human rights and British Constitutional politics. After university, she wants to work in these areas and be a catalyst for positive change. Her last year at university has not gone as originally planned. In academic life, personal life, and her job there have been unforeseen obstacles and unusual circumstances (have you ever tried nannying via Zoom? She has!). Surprisingly, this had made her feel liberated and more open to considering new things. She is confident in her adaptability and is so excited to step into 2021 and the start of her future.

Artiom Cvetkov

Artiom Cvetkov is a student of BA History in University of London in UK and a training Shift Manager in McDonald’s. In addition to these commitments, Artiom also streams on the platform Twitch and writes technology and gaming columns for the University of London’s Award-winning CUB Magazine. Artiom enjoys a tough and progressive challenge with a clear and defined goal to work towards, as well as coming together in a team to brainstorm and work together towards a solution to any task. He believes that hard work and integrity are key in any environment, and that accountability is the most important thing to getting any job being well done. While spending his formative years in the UK, Artiom comes from a blend of Lithuanian and mainly Russian cultures, experiencing the stigma of being an Eastern European immigrant in the UK post-Brexit.

Ali Aguilera

Ali Aguilera is a dedicated and passionate person who loves fiercely and reason profoundly, probably in that order, both of which are qualities that have guided him in what today seems like life-altering decisions.

He was raised in Canada, from a Latin American Father and a Syrian mother, and experienced what it was like to grow up under three district cultural influences at the same time. Though he couldn’t understand it at the time, it is this that would cement his ability to adapt to change, people and circumstances, an ability that he cherishes today more than ever.

Chang Hui Tze

Hui Tze is a law student at University in the United Kingdom and is passionate about legal technology, esports and content creation. Alongside her law degree, she enjoys creating content as a gaming and technology columnist for the CUB magazine, University of London’s Award-winning magazine and as a Twitch Streamer. Being a Twitch streamer during Covid-19 has allowed her to share her interests in art and gaming with an audience and has created an avenue for her to make many new friends. Before Covid-19, she used to volunteer at The Access Project as a tutor to help bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds beat the odds to get into top universities. Now, she hosts charity streams to raise money for causes she cares about like Mental Health America and Samaritans of Singapore. She is born in Hong Kong and was educated in Singapore, Vietnam and the UK.
